Creating a virtual experience in a paper construction felt a bit implausible…but then, finding our soul mates via tiny pictures on the Internet seems equally counterintuitive.

This paper box construction was sized to fit and showcase a 15-stick Slim Pack™ of Wrigley’s™ Big Red® gum. In this graphic design, the pack appears as a profile “picture” in the Quickmatch section of an online dating site. This profile image and the intriguing stats of our promising prospect are displayed. An “on-state” mousing hand symbol, attached to a cord, indicates we’ve selected this match. Pulling the cord lifts the gum from its well. The graphic design encompasses all box sides and the reverse panel as well, where profile pictures and messages from other prospects populate the panel. Deciding which favorite messages to share from real, petitioning suitors entertained me the most while developing this design.
