2010 Jacob’s Love Ladder

Step up the romance with a playful flip of the wrist. We’ll send our valentines up this ladder to heaven.

Following the form of the folk toy, six boxes are attached with an alternating pattern of ribbon. Held vertically, a flip of the top box initiates a visual tumbling sequence. In this valentine, boxes are sized to fit a pack of Wrigley’s™ Big Red® gum. Each box is wrapped with an iconic image of romance. In sequence, the love story builds, from budding roses to final fireworks. Materials: chipboard, paper, hot glue, adhesive, ribbon.
